Bump the salary cap up to $56 million.

Blow the top off and make the top of the draft $9 million to $11 million. Nobody over $11 million allowed. Someone rightly pointed out that this would give some much needed depth to that slot.

Make the draft 8 rounds instead of six: 1-3 / 3-4 / 4-5 / 5-6 / 6-7 / 7-8 / 8-9 and 9-11.

You can do whatever you want with your 4 remaining players and the remaining cash. Options abound!

No clones. Random realignment.

Midge, wondering how this is different than the ascending league we're currently drafting. I'm good if it's pretty much the same or if it's a different structure. Just want to make sure I know the differences beforehand. Thanks.

It's different, instead of adding to the player pool each round everyone is there from the beginning. We will draft eight players, but the eight drafted players must be one player each from the eight different price ranges. You can draft a $9 million guy with your first pick or a $6 million guy or a $3 million guy, whatever you want, you just need to end up with one guy from each price range. Season One is finishing the playoffs and was fun.

Cool. Thanks, man. Already have my spot, looking forward to it... One last question: after a player is drafted, say Steph Curry, is he off limits after that, or can his other price ranges be drafted? So, after Steph is drafted at 8-9M could someone draft him at 7-8M?

Other price ranges can be drafted. In season #1 we had a 1-2, a 4-5, a 7-8 and of course, the 8-9. He was the first player taken in three different price ranges.

Okay so if I had the third overall pick in the first round I could take any available player season in any salary range? But by the end of the draft I would have to have one player season selected from each of the salary ranges. Is that correct? Thanks Midge.

And also can an owner have clones of the same player at different salary ranges?
