2020 WISC Start Date Topic

With no real baseball happening anytime soon and more people at home right now, how would people feel about kicking off the 2020 WISC earlier than usual?

At the earliest, I'd be able to get something started by next weekend.

No objections here. At the very least, even if we don't start super early there's no harm in revealing the themes so we can all start working on them (what else is there to do right now?)

Maybe release one theme a week (without actually posting the official sign-up thread). This would allow us degenerates to start working on rosters and also to comment on any issues with the theme, that could be ironed out prior to the official announcement.

Go right ahead. I'm joining theme leagues at a higher rate than usual right now anyway. Got a few credits to burn and more time than usual for the foreseeable future ...

I like the idea of releasing themes in sequence, but it would have to be started with the official announcement. Don't want to give an unfair advantage (time) for people who are active in this forum

I stayed out of the Pai Gow and 16X16 drafts just hoping the WISC might start early. I enthusiastically support an early start.

Thread will go up tomorrow or Sunday. Finished drafting themes tonight. Getting a few opinions from others and sleeping on them myself as well.

A new 12x12 theme was just posted. These drafts go a litter faster. Only 11 rounds of drafting, with only 12 picks per round (vs 15 rounds x 16 picks per round in a 16x16).
