Secured WIS website?? Topic

Is anyone else getting a "this website does not use a secured server" when you try to login?

I'm not. Try going to incognito mode (or your browser's version of private mode) and try logging in. If you are able to without the security warning, then clear your browser cache and try again in normal mode.

Seems to be something with the latest version of Google Chrome (87.0.4280.88). Firefox and Microsoft Edge both seem fine.

Tried Chrome in Incognito mode and even after sending the two-factor authentication code, Chrome still showed the warning and you are forced to click on the Send Anyway button to continue browsing.

Yea, I'm getting it and it is really annoying.

Another way to resolve?

I started getting it yesterday on Chrome on my phone. Haven't seen it on Chrome on my laptop, or Firefox on my desktop.

Not a problem with the versions of Chrome or Safari I use on iPad.

Having the same issue on Chrome. Super annoying when trying to switch my teams.

It is definitely annoying for sure

Yup! Just got it now. Forgot to check what version of Chrome I was using yesterday.

No, but there’s 50/50 chance when I click on anything that it loads or takes 40 seconds and times out. Makes recruiting fun. Can’t be my internet connection.

This has been going on for weeks.

Looked it up on line. Google added this warning for form pages that are HTTP not HTTPS secure. Designed to prevent any forms you fill out that are not secure from being viewed by others. WIS needs to make sure all pages are HTTPS.

Yeah we are aware of the issue and I brought it up, it has to do with like rsvphr said, https versus http and if it makes anyone feel any better I have the issue too. seble, ccobb12, and our support team at SportsHub are going to look into this, thank you for your patience while we look at this.

Not sure the timeline, but in the short term thanks for working with us.

If you get this error, if you are able to please paste the hyperlink in here.

This is a chrome specific issue right now so if it annoys you try another browser and it should be fine, the team is getting together on Monday morning to look at solutions to get rid of the warning.

Thanks!
