Patch notes - February 18th, 2021 Topic

New features/changes:

Hardball Dynasty:

  • Added Commissioner tool to allow commissioners to warn via email or sitemail owners, also replace vacant owners on their own after 14 days of inactivity.

  • Waiver Wire order moved to bottom of the page underneath the players

  • Adjusted injuries:

    • Off-field injuries have been limited to short to medium term injuries

    • Slightly reduced frequency of long term injuries that impact player attributes long term

Gridiron Dynasty:

  • Recruiting Balance Change: Scholarship Offers will now carry significant value as a recruiting action.

  • Reimplement Bug Fix for an error that is received when switching positions in GD

SimLeague Basketball:

  • Adjusted Default settings for Open Leagues to $47 million budget & No Rookies, this will begin once the next open league is created.

SimLeague Baseball:

  • Adjusted Default settings for Open Leagues to not include AAA Players.

SimLeague Hockey:

  • Fixed Draft Centre search functionality to ‘begins with’ logic.

Hoops Dynasty:

  • New Coach Experience and Job Qualification formula

    • Coaches will now get experience on all games played (positive or negative depending on wins/losses)

    • New formula for determining if coaches are qualified for jobs which will allow progress to D1 faster

    • New formula for determining if two users apply for the same job, which now caps experience, so success and other factors now will now play a bigger role in which user gets the job.

  • Recruiting Balance Change - Adjusted scholarship offers to be more balanced towards real life value

  • Fixed Home Visit recruiting bug

Other:

  • Balanced pricing out in the reward center to match current value/ pricing in the games, etc.

Interested to see how the scholarship offers are impacted in HD. But the job change looks extremely nice!

I'm very disappointed to see that you're caving in to the whiners and the crybabies who are better off playing 1990s Nintendo baseball than a realistic sim. Injuries are already so rare and unimpactful in this game, it is absurd. Now, it's going to be "slightly" even more absurd. It already is common to see owners set 5-man rotations and/or 8- or 9-man lineups on opening day and never touch either of them all bleeping season long -- because they don't have to. This announcement will encourage even more owners to stop giving a $#!& about roster depth or their bench and to pour all of their resources into 16- or 17-man rosters.

This is awesome! I love the fact that new players can move to Division 1 faster - same thing for existing players that are joining a new world. I am interested in the recruiting balance changes, what that means.

GREAT NEWS! More updates in the past 6 weeks than the past 6 YEARS! So keep it up.

I would, however, want some more clarification on the updates. The items listed for Hoops Dynasty sound great but are a little vague. Can we get a tad more detail?
