there are *s on the draft board indicating who is leaving, in tark, despite the CT being in swing. i didn't see an update but i don't remember those stars although i haven't been playing so i am wondering if they are part of the 150 big board update? or is there an update posted somewhere? however the more surprising thing to me is they are showing and its 1 game into the CT.

also that discord banner on the top...

Stars are new. Right now it's just showing graduating seniors in Tark.

Love the change tho. Easier to see who wins the EE sweepstakes and who got screwed

They also changed the "agents opiion" on who is qualified or not.

Interesting that Smith is in the NT and the Big Board is just showing stars next to seniors but Tark is in the CT and showing EEs? I'm not it Tark so cant verify that.

The language on the tickmark is interesting "Denotes a player has declared for the draft." Makes me wonder if the roll-out will start to have player "declare" at random points in the season. I would be pro that.

its only seniors starred in tark i wasn't paying enough attention! at first i hadn't seen the release notes or anything

I just went to the link and noticed this change: "Fixed issue where promises were not forced to be kept on ineligible players that sit out a year."

It was my understanding that ineligible players that sit out a year do not require fulfilling any minutes/start promises made during their first eligible year, that I could promise out the wazoo and not be penalized for it if they sat out a year. I read this is numerous past posts. So this reverses that thinking, correct?

Just saw DHOW69's post, so I guess I understand this right. I agree with the thoughts he posted. This is a real pain, I fully planned to recruit an ineligible player for the first time based on the prior rules...

The discord banner on top is annoying. If they just let me X out of it it wouldn’t bother me but man does it take up a lot of space lol. I’m on discord already, but I simply have no interest in joining an HD discord at this moment in time. Not sure that seeing an advert that takes up a third of my screen everytime I log on is gonna make the concept more appealing.

Adam stated that he's going to shrink it after 2 weeks or so. I think its just a temporary thing to get everyone's attention.

You should definitely think about joining the discord in the future. It feels like a vibrant community much like HD in the old days. It allows you to discuss HD even when your conference chat is a ghost town, which is kinda nice.

correct. promises to ineligibles will have to be honored their first playable season regardless - at least that is the intent of the change.

Just put an X so that we can close out of it. We already do this for tool tips and reminders.

wish that the push had been to use the forums for this - once upon a time they were lively and engaged - will see if I want to Discord to my daily on line activity
