If a previous coach at a job you switched to spent $$$ on a recruit (until he hit the 20-1 cap) and those visits are decreased in value by new coach reduction, can the new coach put more visits? Or is the 20-1 cap combined for both coaches?

Unless they’ve recently fixed this flaw like some of us have begged them to do numerous times, the new coach is capped. This was another one of those absurd patches to cover worries about collusion, and it makes gameplay unrealistic and bad in those specific scenarios.

ETA, by recently, I mean the last time I noticed was when I took Michigan State, and I was capped on a recruit the previous coach had gone all-in for. He thought he was setting the next coach up for success, but he was inadvertently screwing the next guy over.

Oh geez. Thanks pretty bad. Definitely needs to be fixed.

Thanks for the response.

Speaking of new Coaches. UNC Maryland and Illinois open in Tark.

I wish Illinois was open in Allen right now.

It would be nice if previous attention to a recruit traveled in some form or fashion with a Coach to a new school. The better the reputation the higher percent of attention that follows the Coach.

Not to mention VaTech and Wake Forest. MEAC has really done a number on the ACC in that world.

Normally I’d be interested in a bunch of these jobs, but I promised myself I would stick at these schools for a bit longer this time, lol.

its probably a really bad combo, us wrecking east coast recruiting, and piman at ucla being piman at ucla. pretty unfortunate for anyone who wanted to win a d1 title in tark. of course, that would probably be true regardless of our MEAC shenanigans! but still - if you want to f*** over literally everyone who isn't piman, come on down to the MEAC!! best low major conference in HD history!

That's all right. The WCC and MWC are paying back the PAC10 in Rupp. No mercy.

You're always welcome back in the Big Sky.

I really do like Fresno and being in conference with piman, (who is not the only legend in that conference, btw). I’m pretty good with all my D1 conferences right now, actually. But Fresno is probably as solid as any of them.

Fun fact, I got interested in taking on Fresno in a world a couple years ago when a HS friend of mine took over head coaching the football program over there. He’s coaching the Washington Huskies now, as of this off-season. I’m kind of attached to Fresno now, though. I had convinced myself it was a good spot, despite what others were saying about how terrible it must be to be so close to UCLA, Stanford, Zona, etc.

North Carolina, Maryland, Illinois, and Ohio State were all open.
Kentucky, South Carolina, and Oklahoma are now open. Big time domino effect.
