Hello all!! I am starting a twist on the original banned league!
I started the banned league a while back to bring back one of my favorite themes started by hoosiermania (who remembers him?). However, when COVID hit in full swing I was not able to keep up with the work of commissioning the league. Sephy graciously stepped forward to take over as commissioner and has kept it going for 19 seasons (WOW!) However back even before I stepped down I flirted with the idea of a twist on the league. So now that my schedule has FINALLY calmed down I am ready to take up the reigns again. SO here we go, the Banned Season League
For the first season EVERY player and season will be free game.
However, every subsequent season I will be banning the most used player SEASONS.
For example: If 66-67 Wilt Chamberlain is banned, the next season you can use any season of Wilt EXCEPT 66-67.
This will allow us to use certain seasons of a player that commonly don't get utilized.
Once we get a good banned list going I do believe we will get very varied teams with very different strategies.
Due to the suggestion of multiple owners, how and how many players are banned each season will be determined after round 1.
Cap will be 53 million
No Clones, No Rookies, and No Waiver Wire.
