Pens draft Andy Bathgate in round 5 today. If he's half as good as his grandfather was, we got a heckuva player. Anyone have any stats on him??

four goals, sixteen points in 44 games before injuring his shoulder this past year with the belleville bulls. doesn't sound too impressive to me. :{

Scouting Report: The son of former NHL defenseman/current Phoenix Coyotes assistant coach Ulf Samuelsson is a chip off the old block... plays a sound defensive game with a physical edge, though he doesn't have his father's hockey sense... despite his high profile, he was overshadowed by fellow Steel blueliner John Moore in 2008-09... has committed to attend Boston College in 2009-10... has offensive limitations, so he'll make or break it in the NHL based on his defense...

i thought guerin really helped for the stretch and the playoffs. i think it's a good move. it's only one year and not a lot of money. he still has skill, and he's got a lot of experience. :>

i'm really glad they kept adams too. he's a great third or fourth line player. seldom makes any mistakes, and he's got a lot of energy. great on the PK too. :>

I think Mike Rupp is a real good signing. Adds a lot of character to the team.
