I do not really see the benefit of the skip card.

if you get skipped, do you just drop to the lowest timeslot, or are you forced to pick last that round?

Also, i don't think I was the only one skipped. We just figured out late that skipping someone in the earlier rounds was a gift because being dropped to round 25 gave you an extra no team restriction pick, so it was amended to the end of the current round for this version..so I was the only one skipped when you didn't want to be.

I mentioned before the draft started that I would like to get rid of the skip card.

would the card game be fun if we threw out all the skip cards? I miss the wild card, getting the 23rd spot, but im sure butch has some cool wrinkles coming for the next version.

I think the only way a skip card would be useful is to throw you into a round at the end of the draft made up of only Seattle Pilots players. Otherwise, you just pick a 200k player anyways (and could possibly still get someone useful). Perhaps if you do get skipped, you miss round 25 and have to take part in the Pilots draft. Otherwise, I'd get rid of it too.
