SASSY BUTT EVALS (cont.)
badja: love brand at sf (but he gets burned severely by the long range stuff). mark price is a cookie-cutter-cutter. he's better value for the money than nash is, (considering he has 1/2 the t.o.'s) and he makes 156-3's at a 40+ percent clip and washes 636 dishes. he goes to the line more than nash and shoots better ft's than nash (can u believe that?) and he's got sweet-as$ efg% to boot (2 of them). lol. but i wouldn't have drafted price yet (a solid 2600 min round guy) and then there's willis. a bit overpriced for 2900 mins of better than avg efficiency. these 3 mix well on paper (nice, actually). but, um, well, get blitzed by the likes of the rest of us. like nash, mp can't d-up, willis is sorta a whuss, and brand is sorta a whuss, too. C+
garyman: gary has a shot at a solid sg-sf type (picking 11th) to shore-up needed rebounding and dimes, since he'll want kobe at the 2 i assume. a payton and bryant backcourt is a load for any team to play against in this sim engine. possession surplusses (resulting from guard play) instead of frontcourts equates to fta's (by the dozens, ha!) and, not to mention, it wouldn't have to face a similar team in the playoffs (could've had wade, lol). backcourt + mcadoo is a dynamic trio (they wear capes). gary is a veteran, who has, over time begun to figure things out (though he lombasts in the forums). he won't screw this up this time. he's gonna get the perfect no. 11 guy and then find a low-usage friend for mac. divisional winner. nin311: this team is sick. i'm sick just thinkin' about it. kidd and hakeem are made for eachother. kidd gets possessions in this engine (his greatest value i think) and turns them into productive things (a very useful elf he is). hakeem is the great benefactor. he shoots more, which is what u want him to do more of. that is good because nin then does the same thing again with alvin and rice. lol. two plans working together (yeah, nin, it's all about the possessions and efg%.). surplusses in fga's, stls, and fta's is a jackhammer. nin needs some orebs. cool team. sappy: ooooohhh, loookooouuutt... she came in through the bathroom window, protected by a sliver spoon. this team, if sap-man pulls the trigger on a 10% usage or less guy, well, it's party over for some div. by my estimation, the no. 5 should target 900+ boards @ 25%dreb, and more than 2500 mins to curb just enough usage away from the four-horsemen. rondo is a good choice when u have 2 others shooting 3's.. i think pierce and roy will have that mojo working. howard is overpriced a bit but fills up the sheet, and craps on it to. anyone figure out who misses more ft's - shaq or howard? the no.5.. it's make or break time. A/D
alopez: baylor, bogues, bell and big bill... impossible to find mr. b no. 5. bell was a bit of a whuss pick i think. needed a sg with some teeth. muggsy is a good cog. if he can dish it to two top scorers, the better. what better time to draft an offensive minded pf than the 5th? this is an interesting group. if baylor dishes enough (he plays tons of mins) their concrete-like fg% will rise. as bad as baylor is, u don't want to get the beast scoring. he'll foul out everyone on your team in the process! C, i think.
