In memory of George Steinbrenner and Billy Martin’s memorable quote, we have the theme for the first challenge that will see someone leave the island. Pick nine teams for your tribe, and each will be used once. Tiebreaker will be most home runs by The Straw That Stirs The Drink, so post those along with your score.

One player from the Blue tribe will play two games. Tribe captains will sitemail me a list of teams each player will use — listing which category teams are from. For this challenge, captains will be soxyanks12 and steveymer. There will be a reward given to the player who wins with theteam having the worst real-life record. There will be several Hidden Idol teams; anyone playing with one of those teams will get a clue to an idol.

Teams must be submitted by midnight Sunday.
Games must be played by midnight Wednesday. Anyone unable to play games by midnight Wednesday can play them Thursday by 8 p.m. against Sparky, with any opposing-tribe member starting or observing the game.

To answer two questions received via sitemail... A Nixon must have a WIS season on the team chosen. Matchups will be within the category; Blue Tribe's Martin team will play Red's Martin team, etc. The 3 77-81 Yankee matchups will be set by me.
