Ok, I was able to reschedule for today, didn't think I could. I'll be on 6-8pm Pacific time and my wife will listen on her PC to make sure the sound isn't cutting out. Thats in 1 hour and 40 minutes for those that are timezone challenged. ;)

Im beginning my this week in (your league here) theme. In addition to the TWIHBD theme I will do HBD-wide news from the blog & Randall on Baseball stuff.

People have voted for 1 hour episodes pretty clear, but the TWIHBD them not so much. Im going to try it and see how it goes. If I get good turnout for the TWIHBD theme then I'll go to 2 hours and add more leagues - 1 hour per league. If not I'll do HBD wide news 1 hour a day, 6 days a week.

Taking the day off (maybe - heh) "This week in" (Your league here) starts monday at 5pm pacific/8pm eastern. 1st hour will be CAPB every monday. 2nd hour will be site wide news from RSS feeds. Looks like Friday will be Doubleday World. Thursday Cobb or Cobbfather.

9/27 - Just finished up This week in CAPB - 1 hour episode.

In the largely ignored poll in the hbdnews.blogspot.com, you guys voted in 1 hour episodes and This week in Hardball Dynasty theme rather than HBD wide theme as I had it. Due to the fact that this was my most unpopular episode ever, Im not sure I can suffer through working on this setup. Im going to give it a couple weeks before I decide.

Certain leagues that have a lot of listeners it may work for but the ones that ignore it - Im cutting from that theme. Id say 16 listens including those from the outside will be the cut off. If your league doesn't have 16 podcast listens by the next week, then I cut your league and pick a new one. I will do this with every single league, blog or no blog. (THATS RIGHT I MEAN YOU AND YOUR LEAGUE TOO!)

Its been awhile since I did league news and Im a little rusty admittedly. It'll get better as I do it. So far I run Standings, Individual Leaders - top 3 in each league, Team Leaders - top 3. That alone takes up the hour pretty much. If you have a lot of listeners and request it, I can run your league 2 hours. By request only.

So, Tomorrow it'll be This week in Shoeless Joe. Wednesday I reserved for Rickey, Thursday Cobb, Friday Doubleday. All 1 hour. On Saturday 5-7pm Pacific Ill do HBD wide news from the RSS feeds. Contest starts in October - month long with winner picked first sunday in November. You will have to listen M-F to during the one hour episode for the Secret Letter which will you will unscramble to spell a player name. Hints may be given. First to call in on the special November episode with the right name will win.

After I run this list of 5 Leagues, Ill do the math. On Monday if CAPB doesn't have 16 podcast listens then I choose another and so on until I've done them all. Those that reach that number will be permanent even if I have to do 2 a day or every other week. So wether or not I cover your league will be up to you. I'll do it on the RSS whenever your blogger blogs though. 

After I run this week in "your league" schedule for the week, I'll start alphabetically with Aaron and work my way down to the bottom - 1 at a time until I do everyone once.

9/28 - This week in Shoeless Joe World 5-6pm Pacific. Episodes will start at 5pm M-Sat 1 hour during the week and 2 on Saturday for the HBD - Wide news.

9/30 ok the lineup is set for October. Im going to run our This week in HBD for individual leagues starting tomorrow Oct. 1 in Doubleday. On monday I begin revealing the secret letter for the contest during that 1 hour episode. See contest details in the post for it in the hbdnews.blogspot.com blog. On Saturdays I will run HBD - Wide news for 2 hours. Shows will start at 5pm Pacific/8pm Eastern M-Sat.

10/1 - Was supposed to be This week in Doubleday, but they haven't started yet. :/ - Ran the preview posted in the blog. BPF - Season previews - got through most, will finish up in tomorrows 2 hour site wide news.

Contest starts monday - listen for the rooster sound as the cue for a secret letter. See the hbdnews.blogspot.com for details on the contest. The podcasts can be listened to at anytime 24/7/365. All you have to do is go to my show page at blogtalkradio.com/knucklebones and scroll down the page to find the older episodes. All you have to do is push play.

Blogtalkradio always loads some short commercial at the beginning - just be patient. I start off episode with one song. Music will be played if I have to break for any reason. Other than that you get HBD news.

I will require leagues to listen to the podcasts for their league with at least 16 listens. If your league does not make that number then I won't do the TWIHBD theme for your league. I will go through all the leagues in alphabetical order until I run them all. For instance CAPBs TWIHBD theme podcast is above 25 - some may listen from the BTR site. I count them too. That means I continue to cover them. 

You can listen live everyday at 5pm pacifc/8pm eastern M-Sat. 

10/2 Ok I have all my shows scheduled for the month at 5pm Pacific/8pm Eastern, M-Sat.. - M-F are 1 hour (this week in X league) theme. Saturdays are 2 hour news from all the RSS feeds in the hbdnews.blogspot.com blog. I will also run Randall on Baseball material on that day. randallonbaseball.blogspot.com

10/2 - The Secret Letter/Player name unscramble contest begins monday 10/4 and runs all month. Letters will only be given out on M-F when the "rooster" crows. I will reveal a letter at that time. Collect them and unscramble by the end of the month. First Sunday in November I give away the prize. First caller with the right player name  wins the prize. You can listen to the show on your phone, all you need to do is call when I'm on live and you can listen from there. I will give away a free season of HBD.
