Survivor III *** CHAMPION CROWNED! Topic

Rather than take the time to finish this now-useless challenge and vote, The Taint is being tossed into the sea to swim back to the mainland (may the currents be with you!). We're down to six, but if anyone else wants to bail, please do it now before I put more time into challenges that end up being worthless. To help move things along, I'd like the six remaining Survivors to let me know now if there are times you know you won't be around, and also let me know what time of the day you are most likely to be on so I can optimize challenges and deadlines. I'll post the next challenge momentarily, and plan to have short deadlines so we can get this thing finished up. These new forums suck, by the way, which is why this entire post is in bold instead of the one word I wanted bold.

We’re down to six players, so it’s time for a round-robin challenge! We’ll have two divisions of three players each, with the division winners facing off for immunity. Choose a team from a season that ends in 6 (1936, 1986, etc.) and sitemail your choice to me. If a team is picked twice, the two will be placed in different divisions. If a team is picked more than twice, it will be tossed out and you will have to repick. In each three-team division, you will play the other Survivors twice each for a total of four games in the round robin. You must use different SP in the two games against each opponent, so each starter can go twice in the round-robin. Normal relief pitching rules apply. Tiebreaker will be runs differential, then runs allowed. The two round-robin winners will play a best-of-three series for immunity.

I'll be around but honestly the times I am available vary greatly weekly, so I couldn't say.  For this week, I'll be around tonihgt late, tomorrow night and friday late afternoon and night.

I am around. For me to play during the day I just need a heads up and I can usually make it work. The evenings I am usually around but again if I get a heads up I can make it work.

And a question about the final best of 3- what are the starting pitching rules for that. 2 man rotation or something else?

For the best-of-three series, you will need to use at least two starters. The starter for Game 2 must be different from your Game 1 starter.

I am optimal whenever as long as we can set up a specific time in a sitemail. I would say convience-wise I am more of an afternoon- evening person, but I can meet in morning if absoleely needed.

Sorry to see you go Taint.  Good Luck.

My schedule varies quite a bit, but generally, the start of the week and mornings (US time) are best for me.
