lots of good points made.
1. i COMPLETELY agree with felonius on the last point. i do not like the 100% eligibilty rule. it definately dilutes talent from one pool into another and shafts the lower picking owners in every round, regardless of position order. i think 100% eligible rules would apply to a different kind of league.
2. i do not agree that the sg round is a weak round.
3. the draft ordering needs to be revisited. this was the inaugural launch of a drafting style never done before (that i know of) and it had some problems, but all in all, i think it's do-able for now. someone posted a complete breakdown list of the position numbers and it didn't look too far off. i also like sly's formula as well.
4. as far as lifting the 2600 min rule on the two bench players... like i said before, i am not opposed to making changes, but this request seems a bit strained. there's hardly any money left for an owner to draft a full time player unless he intends to start this player rather than a player drafted in the first 5 rounds. i do not know what to make of that.
5. however, if the top slotted owners feel they have been short-changed, or the lower slotted owners feel they've been short-changed, or even the middle guys, i'll gladly trade away my bench2 slots (i have two of them) to anyone who wants them. not a problem at all. glad to do it. don't be shy.
6. finally, perhaps we might be able to "tweak" the 2bench round, where we allow one player not to exceed 2600 mins, and the other player has no mins limitations. i don't know how you guys feel about that, but it's a possibility.
7. so far, been a speedy draft... we are just experiencing our first "slow down". good job with proxies and smails
