I'm one. I've never touched a woman without her permission. Just because you were a creep or perv, dont throw it out on the rest of us.

I'm another. I never groped a woman without her assent. If a woman told me no, I stopped. I never talked about grabbing women by the ***** in the locker room either.
At least to me, groping and touching are two different things. I don't believe any man has never touched without asking, but many have never groped without doing so.

Still curious to hear b_l explain his "implied consent" theory. That certainly doesn't sound like something that shows women respect.

You must not know much about Mr. Cain. You might want to educate yourself about someone before criticizing them. You have a tendency to get caught up in your liberal circle and believing whatever you hear without ever truly knowing the facts. It's a common problem with both parties in this country.
Mr. Cain seems like a fine fellow. Type of guy that you want to have a drink with. Not a presidential type.
Please explain further. Why is he not the presidential type? Also, please explain how he is not intelligent.
Herman Cain and I have a lot of similarities. We both say really stupid **** without thinking about it.
I agree with that. I have had the privilege over the last couple of years to get to know him a bit. He is truly a good person.
I believe you. I just wouldn't want him to be my president.
Cain or bad_luck?
Both

That was "kinda cute".............. I'm a sucker for word games..............

And (sorry!) I just have to bite.................

"...exaggerating and twisting things into something they are not."

You mean like our current POTUS?

I mean like 99.9% of all Politicians of both Parties.

Had a pollster come to my door this afternoon and the first question he asked was "If you could change anything about our Government, what would it be?" I told him I'd permanently ban all political Parties. After he picked his jaw off the ground, he said "That's interesting." and asked "Why?" I told him because the Parties don't give a damn about the American people. All they care about is being able to boast about their election rates and claim they are in control (when they have a majority). That anyone who wants to be in office has to play the "Party Game", or they won't get elected and that stinks. Go against their Party and the party will support and fund someone else who will kiss their butt.
I've had the impression that we don't agree on a lot.............. but on this I must say, You and I have struck complete agreement.
It is also my belief/understanding that (most of) our Founding HuMans felt the same on the "party" notion.

I must have been wrong when I speculated you for a russkie troll. I apologize Mr. American.

Now, IF we could just get you to get past the wing nut tea bagger stuff........... :-)

Don't try to back-pedal, creep.

Kavanaugh is ******. Dude assaulted women and doesn't deserve a seat on the supreme court.

And implied consent is pretty simple. When you're married to someone, you hug and kiss and are intimate with them. They allow it, they gave you permission at some point in your relationship.

That doesn't mean they can't revoke it, but it's COMPLETELY different from how you'd interact with a friend or an acquaintance or a classmate or a coworker. You can't "accidentally" touch a breast (as you claimed to have done) without being a giant ******* creep.
9/26/2018 4:10 PM
YOU say he assaulted women. You have said millions of other things that were not true, so please forgive me if I wait until a Court finds him guilty before I do. I believe it is every American's right to be considered innocent until proven guilty, is it not?

So implied consent is being able to do whatever you've done before, whenever you feel like it, without asking, until you are expressly told "NO"? You sure that's your final answer?

What about a friend or acquaintance or classmate or coworker who you want to be more? Yes, today maybe it's PC to ask before any physical contact at all, but that wasn't the case 30-35 years ago. Then, many guys, and some girls, touched until they were told "NO", then stopped. Stopping when told was considered respectful. Some may disagree, but if they do, it's either selective memory, a lie, or they associated only with Saints.

Mr. Liberal California is now trying to convince us how moral he is. The humor just continues to be priceless.

bob, thanks. I really don't think we're nearly as far apart on things as you do. I just don't blame the current Administration for our problems, and I still think it was the lesser of 2 evils (presented by the Parties). I am still a registered Democrat (until my State gets Open Primaries), but have zero alliance, and have always voted for the best (or least bad) candidate regardless of Party.

This post is just THICK with stupidity.

Every American gets the assumption of innocence in a criminal trial. Kavanaugh isn’t on trial. He doesn’t have a right to a SCOTUS seat. Credible allegations of misconduct should be enough to disqualify him.

You get to show your wife affection without asking. That’s part of being married. If she tells you to stop, it’s assumed you will.

If you want to “make a move” on a coworker, are your only options:

a) do nothing
b) ask to grope
c) grope without asking (“accidentally” touch a breast)

Because it seems like there are other options. You know, like asking them out.

I think the only thing BL is qualified to run is his mouth

I didn't say I never touched without asking, but I wouldn't put mat arm around a woman who I didn't know was alright with it. I don't see how anyone could go through life without accidentally touching another human being. As for BL's theory, who knows what he means? I certainly don't have to ask my wife if I can kiss her. She'd let me know if she didn't want me to.

The DEMS have "JUMPED THE SHARK" and AMERICA knows it. They finally went too far.

The latest allegations about gang rape and drugging and "sex trains" concerning Kavanaugh are laughable.

I always say "give 'em enough rope" and they finally did it here.

The Dems have done a lot of stupid and crooked things in my life in the realm of the political arena, but this one finally took them over the cliff.

It's too ridiculous to even discuss. It's so foul, I doubt even a liberal HERE would care to challenge my conclusion.
9/26/2018 7:23 PM
So now b_l thinks HE gets to decide who is qualified for the Supreme Court. Not surprising since he thinks he knows everything about everything.

He also says if there is someone new who you want to have physical contact with, you just ask them out - that's it? Problem solved? It's free game if they say yes? Do they need to "give a signal"? What a total freaking dumbazs - as always. Asking someone out doesn't change the dynamics of touching at all. Just because they agreed to a movie or whatever doesn't mean they agreed to anything else.

If I wouldn't have so much material I'd need to choose from, I'd start a "DAILY DUMBAZS" thread just for b_l's dumbest comment every day, but I'm just not up for that sort of time investment.

I don't know if Kavanaugh is guilty of the allegations or not, but it sure seems fishy when multiple women sit on accusations for over 30+ years and then come forward when they know those allegations will get the most publicity and have the most impact. Kavanaugh has been a judge for a long time. If their concern was to keep him out of a powerful position, they would've come forward long ago.

A lot of this stuff reeks of circumstances "becoming" assault after the fact. Perhaps there was a drunken frat party and a guy flashes a couple girls. They laugh it off and think nothing of it. Suddenly, 30 years later, they recall the incident. "That dude flashed us once at a party". They don't claim it was assault - they just put it out there and let the public and the media do the rest.

Imagine if we all had our worst moments displayed publicly, especially all our bad decisions in high school in college. We'd likely all be in some deep trouble. Very few people are as immature and foolish as they were in high school and college, 30 years later.
9/27/2018 9:36 AM
And those very few people should be the candidates for the Supreme Court.
9/27/2018 10:16 AM
Anyone who doesn't think the Political Parties in this Country are the root of many of our problems should watch the opening statements from both sides at today's Kavanaugh hearings. The ridiculous rhetoric and shameless self-indulgence shown by both sides should be an embarrassment to all Americans.
We will probably never know what, if anything, took place between Mr. Kavanaugh and these women, but we do know that the Parties are ruining this Country by continually placing their own agendas ahead of what is best for it, and that needs to stop. We, as Americans and voters, are the only ones who can stop it. If you live in a State with open Primaries (which all States should have), there is no reason to affiliate yourself with one of these despicable groups.
9/27/2018 1:00 PM
What if I live in a state where Kris Kobach is the front-runner to be governor and the only chance to stop him is to vote for Laura Kelly instead of independent Greg Orman?
9/27/2018 1:04 PM
Hopefully it's not bad as that only a "few" men manage to make it to adulthood without flashing their peckers in some public fashion.
The pure stupidity of some teenage guy pulling his (likely, tiny) dick out and showing it around would seem to me to disqualify that particular guy from being a Justice of the S.C., IMO.

I can't think of one single instance wherein that "act" could be construed as "smart".
