Steely Dan is fantastic. I think I have five of their albums.

Have you heard the college years stuff? I’ve had a disc of all their early demos and pre-SD stuff for about 15 years. I know many people don’t even know they exist. They’re amazing and you can hear everything that developed into the SD sound being born. If you really like SD shoot me a sitemail and I’ll get you the info.

His real problem was smoking not drinking. My middle name is Marlboro.

dean martin drank milk......thats for real.....the drinking thing was all an act.
dino's daughter deanna is a very good singer...not very well known.

Correct. He did drink but it was never a serious problem. It was the 2-3 packs a day that killed him.

My dad actually wrote down "Dino" as my middle name (back then mothers spent up to a week in the hospital and the birth certificate was finalized upon discharge.) On the day she went home, he changed it to Dean.

cool story......great name either way..........maybe your dad was worried that people would think you were named after the flintstones dino.

here is an interesting question......bob dylan replaced roy orbison in the second willbouries album.....i dont think he had the pipes after orbison to make it work.....who could have replaced roy orbison other then paul or ringo.......
tough one......someone with the elvis /orbison classic voice.....and an icon.
