i dont see it black and white..all or nothing.
i have said 100 times she said nothing wrong.
but just like trump she has a stern obligation not to speak in a way that could be inflammatory..unless she is a moron she should have known that comment would be chopped up and that is not a good way to handle a sensitive topic.
i have to disrespect her for that.
she blew a big opportunity...maybe on purpose.
What she said wasn’t inflammatory. At all.
to you. There are other people in the world, you know?

if I said that to your daughter you'd want to kick my ***(note I said want to...you couldn't). When Trump says it, its just locker room talk. Right. Hypocrite.
He never mentioned anyone by name and was talking to a guy. False equivalency. Try again. You're such a snowflake. No wonder you vote Blue. Suits you.
as usual, you don't address the issue. if someone said that about your daughter, would you or would you not want to kick his ***? I don't see how who tru mp said it to makes any difference. It is disrespectful to women to talk about them that way.
You're such a hypocritical *******.
Said what about her. That she likes famous and rich men? That is what he was insinuating. I am not a hypocrite whatsoever. At least in my mind. It was not disrespectful to women either. He was not talking about all women. You're such a sissy snowflake. My goodness.

So no politician should ever say anything that could possibly be considered inflammatory by anyone ever?

Or just Omar?

Hmmm, wonder white that’s the case?

whites are caulkasian...white asians.
asians and hispanics and arabic people are white.
who cares if she is white or whatever....
i want her to succeed....she is not making friends among people who would want her to contribute to progress.

you see race in everything. Politicians should try not to say anything inflammatory, regardless of who they are. Has nothing to do with Omar. If trump or Beto or Harris had said it, I'd still say they need to choose their words more carefully.

okay, so if Trump had said to that same guy in the same conversation that Jews were money hungry *****, it wouldn't be anti-semetic because he wasn't addressing it to a specific jew, right? Hypocrite! All he would have been saying is the Jews like money.

Again a false equivalency. If he said Jews are drawn to me because I have money and I can do things for them and others cannot then it would be somewhat annoying. He never insulted women. He said because of his fame women come on to him. That was all that he said. Omar and Tlaib said "it is all about the Benjamins" when it comes to Jews.

Donald Trump's speech to Republican Jews was filled with anti-Semitic stereotypes

Midday on Thursday, Donald Trump gave a speech to the Republican Jewish Coalition. These are three real things that he said:

  • "Stupidly, you want to give money. ...You're not going to support me because I don't want your money."
  • "I'm a negotiator, like you folks."
  • "Is there anyone in this room who doesn't negotiate deals? Probably more than any room I've ever spoken."

The nicest thing that you can say about these comments is that they play on ancient stereotypes of Jews as money-grubbing merchants. The meanest thing you can say is that they're outright anti-Semitic. The crowd appeared to laugh it off, but observers watching the speech were struck:

Trump to the Republican Jewish Coalition: "You're not going to support me because I don't want your money." What the hell does that mean?

You have to give plaudits to Donald Trump for chutzpah. Who else gives a border line anti-Semitic speech at the Republican Jewish Coalition?

No, you wouldn’t have. If anyone else has said it, it wouldn’t have been news because it wasn’t inflammatory.

For real, Wylie. Look at what you did.

Omar said something that wasn’t very remarkable. Someone else chopped it up into a propaganda video in order to get right-wingers angry at the scary Muslim lady. The President tweets the video out.

You start a thread about it.

But instead of pointing your scorn at the people that deserve it—either the makers of the propaganda video or the President—you decide to call out Omar for saying something that she should have known could have been cut up into a smear video.

How about starting a thread about how irresponsible it is for the President to tweet a video like that?

Unless you fell for the video and didn’t realize it when you started the thread????

How about this video?
