I will take......The Blue Jays Infield. The Angels IF & Indians IF aren't listed as taken on page 1. I also have a few questions:

1) When determining what team a rookie goes to that played for 2 teams, does it matter how many PA's he had for the 1st team? For example, Scott Bradley in 1986 only had 24 PA's for the White Sox. Will he be their property or the Mariner's?

2) Are we making cuts before the leftover player draft?

As I see it,
1.Bradley will go to his first team (White Sox) "you will be awarded ALL ROOKIES that START THE SEASON with your team at the position that you own".
2. There are no cuts in 1980 "After each season you will cut your rosters down to 25"

The answer to #2 can't be right, because I have 30 players on my team currently.

2 is right, but its after season 1, you can put extras in AAA in year 1 or cut the ones not worth keeping

Not sure what you mean, you dont need to cut anyone until after the 1st season. Keep as many as you want, put them in AAA, you still get to draft your 3 players from the unused players as well. Then, after season 1, you cut down to 25 after your new rookies, or less if you want to draft.

Kallison-you only use the city name, and stadium(1980), team name must be original (no team name ever used before)
As per the rules, if more than 1 want to use the same city, we will have an AL version and a NL version kinda like NY.

OK, Let me get this Straight... There can be 3 Yankee Stadiums or 3 Dodger Stadiums, ect..
You will Just separate them into Different Divisions Then... Correct? I'm not trying to be your Problem child here, Just trying to Understand... When this is a Real Possiblity...

I don't think it's a big deal because every team will be unique with no clones. Theoretically, there could be six "New York" teams between the Yankees and the Mets. I believe Mets teams would go to the NL and Yanks to the AL, then one per each division. All of the other cities would either be AL or NL only. If duplicates they would go to different divisions within each league.

My 1980 team has 23 pitchers and infielders, add 1 hired gun, select an outfield and likely there will be more than 30 players. Therefore, nobody else can be drafted.

The rules said a lot about drafting the unused players, that is what I planned.

Change the rules.
I don't follow. What's the problem? In year 1 (1980) you keep as many players as you like between your 25 man roster and your AAA. Beginning in year 2 you cut down to 25 or fewer. After each team makes it's cuts then we draft from the available players that are not on a keeper list to get our rosters to 25 players. Each year you replenish your team from either your new rookies or the available player pool. This is pretty consistent with most progressive leagues.

I believe beginning in year 2 and after we lock into our 25 man rosters, there is a 4 man AAA draft.

Ok, I understand now. I thought we had to be at 25 players in 1980. So, we get all the players from our 3 draft picks + the 3 leftover players we draft. If someone ends up with 40 players, they have 40 players. When we post our 1981 roster, we have to be at 25 players or less.

Great, I will cut up to 6 Detroit Tiger pitchers to allow me to draft unassigned players for at least three rounds.
