If it's 24 teams, wouldn't it make more sense to have 6 divisions and 2 wild cards? This way, the Division Series would be like the WBC quarterfinals.

Correct, if its 24 teams it'll use the standard format of 6 divisions of 4 teams each, with each division winner plus a wildcard making the playoffs

Wait, since that's the case, I won't put in a Dominican team due to 3 already existing.
24 teams split into 6 vs 4 could mean all Americans in one division, all Dominicans & Venezuelans in another, with both hopefully in the same conference.

I have 0 MLB sim experience, include the Hardball Dynasties, so I'd appreciate being put with the medium quality teams, not the upper echelon ones.

I do not support the suggestion of having all American teams in one division.
I still hope we go with the original idea of making this a 20 team league.
