I took over a team that won 56 games last season. This season is at game 104 and have a 3 game division lead. Probably won't make playoffs without winning the division. At what point do you stop trying to rest players and push to the end?

If I'm pushing for a playoff spot, I'll run them down to 90%. I find that anything lower than 97% seems to increase injury risk but I'm willing to take to that chance to make the playoffs.

It's poor form to use guys after a trade has been agreed but, sometimes, it's unavoidable. I'd suggest asking the owner to not utilize the pitcher after acceptance.

gets hit with the injury curse. 90 day injury, 1 recovery bump which was not enough for $20 million medical. My pitching staff is doing fine without him, if I keep him on the DL will I get another recovery cycle?

Other idea, he has 1 more day until fully healthy. If I take him off the DL and throw him right back on the 60 again will he start over and garentee at least one more recovery cycle?
