The only bad thing about tonight's game was ..........We should have won in overtime so the WILD could get a point to pad their lead on the BLACKHAWKS!!!!

Couple mistakes by Sauve but he played well. I hope the rest of the boys stay healthy. Eek, we're getting low on D. Schneider played excellent too. The team sure didn't put up many shots on Backstrom. Next game is Vs Nashville. I think that could be a low scoring game.

You think Luongo hasn't stepped up already? Yeah, he's had a few brain farts but the guys been great for the last month or two. With Thomas starting to fatigue he is in consideration for the Vezina.

Maybe try Teflon Hod on defense

Bieksa is out 3 weeks with fractured foot. Evan Oberg is in.

Hamsuis and Ballard should be back within a week (by which time Salo and Ehrhoff will be injured). Tanev probably never thought he was a Canuck forever.

I think I'd do it. If this is the Canucks year, they might need that security. I'm not a big Raymond fan. I don't think he makes his linemates better and this would clear him off the books as Phillips will be a free agent this summer. Filling Raymonds spot with Tambi, Hansen, Shirokov, Hodgeson I think is a sacrifice worth making for a veteran Dman. Depending on who fits with Phillips at 3.5 mill, Raymond 2.5.

It sounds like an reasonably intelligent move making it seem possible.

I don't see much point in trading away one of your top 6 forwards for a d-man to fill the holes right now, but you won't be using come playoff time.

I think I may be the biggest canucks fan tonight...beat the snot out of the preds!

No pannick button yet?  But our lead in the standings could go down with this many D-men out!!

Raymond probably doesn't crack the top 6 next season.  But if he is trade bait he is currently a top 6 forward on the league leading team, is young, and has a reasonable cap hit.  I would want a lot more than a rental D man who becomes number 6 or 7 in the playoffs just to plug a few holes for the next month. 

100 points should make the playoffs, Perhaps the Canucks are better off weathering the storm now and make a push when all are healthy for he playoffs.

 I agree, we are in ,lets not panic..these Dmen are going to be back for the playoffs..dont do anything stupid..if we can get a gritty playoff performer  for a mid to late rd pick ..go for it..otherwise let just hold the fort.  I mean if we get Iginla for a 6th rounder, Gillis has to pull the trigger :>
