Southeast Engine--From the Forest to the Sea.

And...ironically,

Birdmonster--From the Mountain to the Sea

First is much better than the second. Like a more grunge folky version of Neon Bible.

Midlake is playing for me currently. "Young Bride" to be exact. Just had "Personal" by Stars.

I'm not often a fan of live albums. Is that one better than the studio albums, handjob?

Which live album? Regardless, I haven't heard it.

When I looked at From The Forest To The Sea online, it listed it as a live album...

Not sure what you were looking at--it's definitely not live. I'll email it to you.

Just got a copy of the new Sunset Rubdown--it's outstanding.

i saw the first ever show of The Dead Weather last week

Jack White's new side project

he plays drums
chick singer from the Kills sings
bassist is geeky guy from Raconteurs
guitarist ... not sure

Very heavy hard show, chick singer has really strong voice, highlight was prob when Jack played guitar and co-sang during the encore.

Overall i liked it, but my friends not as much

The Rural Alberta Advantage--Hometowns. Best album I've heard this year--I think it's a couple years old, but just beginning to break out.

Spirit Spine...very Panda Bearish. Good stuff.

I'm not really much of a fan, but I was surprised just how much the Arctic Monkeys changed their sound from their first album to this 'Humbug' one.

Yeah, I read good reviews, but I really didn't like them before...I'll still probably listen just to see what they did.
