the thing is, regarless of early entries, high prestige schools with tons of scholarships have a huge advantage.
They will almost always get a few guys to sign for super cheap ($4k-5k).
So take this example. Say you are at Duke with six openings. You have $90k. You get two guys considering only you. No one will battle because of the warchest. So now you have four openings with $80k in cash. thats $20k per recruit.
The price should not be fixed. It just makes it super easy to recruit
