I actually don't care that much if you change it or not; and if you hadn't been so stridently defending something that was flatly wrong, I wouldn't have cared at all. As I said, if just once, ever, you woudl just flat out admit you were wrong about something without having to go through ten page arguments . . .

It wasn't wrong it just wasn't completely clear, thus I clarified it because of the arguments that you guys made. I'm a tough nut to crack, rightly or wrongly, and if you get through to me and get me to change/improve something, regardless of how long it took, you should be happy.

It was wrong.

Unambiguously wrong.

You are still doing it.

"Not completely clear' and 'incorrect' are two separate things.

Your phraseology could mean "that number of states of uncertain affiliation that were at one with each-other". It could mean
Older than Thirteen "United states" in other words, the age of the united states times thirteen. But stated in this case either attaches to the word united, and becomes "United States' or it stays separate in which case you are positing that it is older than a number of states of uncertain providence who happen to be united. Your interpretation tries to have it perform both functions at once.

Colonels, serious question. How come anyone disagrees with you for more than a couple of posts, you accuse them of going into "hater" mode? Isn't that kind of childish and just an excuse for you to use later, "they're all haters"?

I mean, for real bro, how old are you exactly? The "hater" mode part would lead me to believe that you're definitely of the MTV-generation......

How about "Thirteen of the United States"? Those who state correctly that "The United States" is a single entity like "Canada" will not be fully satisfied. But it sounds better.
