It would seem that the drop off in quality at QB is much less from Bradford to Claussen than a DL pick, does it not?

The Rams were in a unique position where they needed an impact pick. I liken it to the Texans a few years ago. They took Mario Williams instead of Bush, Young, Leinart. It's fairly obvious they made the right call. But, at the time, the fanbase was very unhappy about it. Fans want scoring. And I don't think anyone believed Claussen wasn't a Day 1 pick.
