It is off the topic, but I am curious. What is the advantage of removing seniors from the depth chart during NT? Sorry for my ignorance if it is common sense...

he probably was setting up for next season. as soon as i lost to MB in the E8, i had already started setting my practice plans for next year and had also started to update the depth chart.

yea i normally do it right after I lose, helps visualize what needs you have in recruiting by looking at the depth chart.

Nice run to the E8 glen. you should be in the mix next year.

Absolultely ridiculous -- ONLY ONE of the original Final Four teams made it back there in the rerun.

Stupid!!

just noticed this as well. players involved in the replayed games got credit in their stats for those games that were wiped out.

scott anderson is now the johnson st. rebounding leader by 1 because of the 2 extra games.

here is his season 26 totals when you look at it from the "statistics" tab on his profile, you will notice the 35 GP, well we were 28-5 (33 GP):

yet, are his stats when you click on the "game log" tab

there will definataly be an * in the future johnson st. media guides

Well obviously those rankings meant a lot because my E8 opponent dropped I think he said 7-9 points compared to my 12 or 13 and this time we shoot in the 20% FG and are bounced out....

No orrdc, this just points out the "huge randomness" of the RNG engine of this game. People have been saying for years that randomness plays far too big a role in this game and this just proves it out. By rerunning these games, Seble has screwed himself because we now all see how random the results are. Only 1 of the FF teams return in the rerun -- that's crazy.

The best teams should be winning a much larger percentage of the time. In essence, we are paying money for a coin-flipping game!!! Argghh, what a mess!!

Sorry weirdrash about the reversed result. I don't think it is a surprise that the result was reversed since we nearly beat you the first time we met in regular season, but I do agree it is kind of ridiculous to re-run games after it already happened. I missed the first time it was run so I don't know how big is the turnaround as far as scores go.

I know both Pac10 teams benefit from the decision and it is good for our conference, but I just want to express my uncomfortableness about the win.

Hey guess what seble, it cost me. Now I want all the benefits I would've received if it hadn't, heck I should almost get something based on the potential that I had to win the PI too. Seriously this sucks. But enough of that, just fulfill your commitment and I'll let it slide.

absolutely an overreaction in rerunning the games... of course, i didn't make it back to the final four... the team that is in my place lost in the sweet 16 originally... extra credits just doesn't make up for being ripped off like this.

Do you think if they replayed Kentucky-WestVirgina and Kansas-UNI again 30 times in real life that either of those teams would win more than 10% if the time ?
5/28/2010 2:46 PM
pretty sure west virginia would
5/28/2010 2:47 PM
Maybe thats the point hughes, the fact that when you hit the E8 many of these teams are so close that by running the games again after one team already "WON" is just a disaster.

Two years in a row to screw up season is inexcusable IMO
