i'm fine with damag's suggestion. round eleven for double picks sounds good to me. and with 12.3 forwards, and 5.9 defensemen, that's 18 skaters, which is enough to ice a team with relatively few injuries. i'd be more concerned about enough goaltenders with enough games played to satisfy 24 teams. there is currently only 52 goaltenders with 20+ games, and two more that might make it. (sitting at 19). that's 54 goalies to satisfy 48 minimum goalie slots. there are 26 that will likely end up with 50 games or more played. 4 goalies that will finish in the forties, and then it drops down to mid thirties at best. we might want to consider limiting teams that have a strong starter (ie one of the thirteen goalies that will likely finish with 60 or more games) to only be allowed one backup. that way teams that end up with a starting goalie with around 50 games could be allowed to take two backup goalies to make sure they have enough games to last the season.
just a suggestion. i'm not concerned about my team at all, as ward might end the season with the most games played. but i wouldn't want to see somebody get screwed by having two goalies that don't even total 82 games. though of course, that would mean they weren't drafting goalies when they maybe should have, so we could just say "you snooze, you lose". :>
