I was responding to Jclark mentioning how bad the Obama Administration responded to the incident.

They said the no one should offend anyone. I am pretty sure the right to offend is part of the Constitution.

And standing up for people who will kill us if we defend the Constituion isnt very Presidential.
LOL....yeah Romney is coming across as an even bigger douche right now for responding the way he did...even while events were still unfolding...even conservatives are not supporting his statement.

The idea that Conservatives are bashing Romney isnt really accurate. A few Cons made some critical comments. for the most part Cons were supportive.

First the Embassy and then Obama himself made statements that seemed to indicate that there was some justification in the Cairo attacks because we offended the Muslims.

Flat out wrong. Post them and the timeline in which they were said.

In fact, Romney turned around and made essentially the same comment about the film in question that the embassy made  BEFORE IT WAS ATTACKED. That is what you comprehension challenged idiots have not understood...the embassy made the comments prior to the attack in an effort to calm things down. Romney is FLAT OUT WRONG about this. And I won't even go into his smirk as he walks away from the podium. He is not fit to be CinC. He can't thank the troops in Afghanistan, and he politicizes the death of an American ambassador and 3 other Americans..on 9/11 no less.

This post has a rating of , which is below the default threshold.

This is the expression Mitt thinks is appropriate when talking about attacks on US civilians and that he is scoring big political points.

The difference between the Obama comment and Romneys is Romney mentioned freedom of Speech.

From Obama speech the next day.... "the United States has been a nation that respects all faiths. We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others"

The funny thing is, when conservative Christians get called on their beliefs, you say things similar to this.

In this context he would be claiming that free speech wasnt an important issue.

He clearly wanted to point out that we do not defend this movie.

He than says that they were not right to commit acts of violence, but why make this point clear first?

Has it possibly occured to you that the President doesn't have the luxury of throwing kerosene on the fire?
