Let me see if I understand your point. So... Michael J. Fox never donated a dollar to the Parkinson's foundation before he got Parkinsons himself. Therefore, his intent is called into question as purely selfish. You know you're right! He should step down as spokesman for the Parksinson's foundation because he's not doing any good. In fact, he shouldn't even get a tax deduction for money he donates to the foundation because his intent isn't altruistic. Let's take him outside and beat the sh*t out of him. People who speak in metaphors should shampoo my a$$.
Nice, comparing this to an incurable disease and yourself to a sufferer of that disease. I have absolutely no problem with you wanting to change the format, I agreed that the ABBA format is better. I do take some issue with you wanting to change the format after the draft is started, but that's not worth starting an argument over. What is worth putting a spotlight on are your methods; talking about yourself getting screwed over when you knew the format coming in, then saying you want change for others. Using manipulative language and starting a poll just to get any kind of pressure you can on the commissioner to get the change you desire in the middle of a draft. I'm done arguing. Hell, I just edited this post to take out what could possibly be construed as insulting, further dragging it out. I want what's best for the league, too. I feel that means continuing the entire draft as originally intended, then implementing change in the off-season.
Let's get on with the draft. Apologies to all for my part in keeping the argument going, but that kind of attitude bugs the hell out of me.
Smokey, I am all for the format change Pexetera wants, after this draft. There is no need to change it from the original immediately just because one guy wants it his way now. The format change done immediately would help me, but I urge you to not do it until the end of this season. It sets a bad precedent.
