Well, ain't that a kick in the teeth!
Oh well, it was highly unlikely I was going to go 7-for-7 in getting the "cheapest" version of each player left over my last 8 picks. It was so close though. I just wish I hadn't gone through the process of maximizing my roster with the assumption I was getting the all the cheapest versions left. I would've had a salary of $129,948,686 million had I been able to add 2010 Heisey. Maybe I should simply change the salary cap to $130,578,322. Any complaints? No?
Now, I will probably end up with a salary of about $127 million as I roll back my roster to what I had assuming I would not get all the cheap versions.
I can finish my team now since I'm the only person who needs Lind, Breitenstein and Heisey. But I am going to look at other possible permutations before I officially announce my last picks. Of course, you can write in 2011 Chris Heisey since that pick is forced.
