I agree. I've never been any good at this format, but I love the draft.

Just what I was thinking...

Jtpsops has his Buckley, so I'll take:

Buckley, Dick 1891 New York Giants 1,527,329

This moves me ahead of schwarze for the next round, and since he's the only other one who needs his Heisey, next round I take:

Heisey, Chris 2010 Cincinnati Reds 1,152,655

I can't finish up until the following round or until everyone else takes their Mitchell.

Oh well, it was highly unlikely I was going to go 7-for-7 in getting the "cheapest" version of each player left over my last 8 picks. It was so close though. I just wish I hadn't gone through the process of maximizing my roster with the assumption I was getting the all the cheapest versions left. I would've had a salary of $129,948,686 million had I been able to add 2010 Heisey. Maybe I should simply change the salary cap to $130,578,322. Any complaints? No?

Now, I will probably end up with a salary of about $127 million as I roll back my roster to what I had assuming I would not get all the cheap versions.

I can finish my team now since I'm the only person who needs Lind, Breitenstein and Heisey. But I am going to look at other possible permutations before I officially announce my last picks. Of course, you can write in 2011 Chris Heisey since that pick is forced.

That's why this draft is always fun. You think you know, and 1 round later you have a completely different outlook. The last one we played in. The last 2 rounds forced me to change my starters in 6 positions. I had a bunch of 5-6 mil infielders on my bench.
