Bit of a conundrum here with the sitemailed pause but also things continuing apace. So in the interest of the record, I’m going to pick.

I'm not sure that we should redraft, but I don't actually agree with other people on this board that we can't put the genie back in the bottle...

Nordawg, who would you have chosen with the 2nd pick of Round 2, if all the players drafted in R2 except for Kevin Brown of LAD were still available?

In theory, all we would have to do is the following:

Once we know what Nordawg would have done with the 2nd pick of Round 2, we could do the following for a Redraft:

(1) If the Redraft causes an owner's original pick to be stolen or blocked, that owner can then pick a new player without any other restrictions than the usual ones.

(2) If #1 is not true, then an owner can only change his or her pick to a player that is available in the redraft but not in the original draft (ex. Owner A with the 3rd pick changes his pick to Kevin Brown of LAD because Kevin Brown was picked in the original draft at #2 but the #2 owner changed his pick or because the LA Dodgers were off the board by pick #3 in the original draft but are still available in the redraft). Otherwise, the owner must stick with the original pick.

Yankees were off the board already

Except nordawg now has the knowledge of everyone’s pick and can adjust accordingly. It is impossible to shoehorn in a pick without disrupting everything else as the two extensive mitigations you posted demonstrate.

It's one thing to put up with the delays caused by the typical slackness of some owners during the drafting of this league. Usually most legs. The proposal of re-starting this round is testing my patience. If that's the route that is chosen count me out.

Rivera and O'Neill were already taken from the Yankees this round, so this pick appears to be invalid.

it looks like the vote is leaning toward continuing the draft as is. with that being said, I am waiting to see if nordawg wants to continue owning his team.

Nordawg hasn't open my sitemails yet but I'm going to give him some time to respond.

Reds were off the board already (Larkin & Rose taken earlier)

Honestly, I think this is what we should do. Let nordawg pick the player he would have chosen and adjust as needed from there.

If that’s not an option, then we should continue and offer the team credit.
