i think it will be

1 Jim Brown
2 Jerry Rice
3 Lawrence Taylor
4 Joe Montana
5 Walter Payton
6 Reggie White
7 Johnny Unitas
8 Dick Butkus
9 Peyton Manning
10 Don Hutson
I think mine would be pretty ******* similar.

On a random note, my best friend's Dad played high school ball on the same line as Butkus and they remain friends to this day.  I never met that *** though.
nice, not everyday you meet someone that graduated from Hamburger U, let alone two people!

He still brings up almost every time I see him how he (best friend's Dad) had five sacks in one practice.

seems shady, don't most QBs wear the "don't hit me, I'm fragile" jersey during practice

I have the following awesomeness on my squad:
Shonn Greene
Ryan Matthews
Larry Fitzgerald
Randy Moss
Tony Romo
Steve Smith (Car)
Knoshown Moreno
Brent Celek

Not sure what more could have gone wrong for that team.
nice, I have several of those same guys on my team, but also had Jonathan Stewart, Beanie Wells & Ryan Grant
Not nice at all.

Witten has also been a disappointment for the most part as well.

Calvin Johnson and Pittsburgh have been awesome, Rice has been okay and Mike Williams has started to play well (except for this week).  Picked up Freeman and Orton was my backup QB.  Still somehow about to be 5-3 magically and the second highest scoring team in the league.

Smoke and mirrors.
What expectations could you possibly have had for Witten that he'd be a disappointment?

Not in the 50's.

Top 5 TE.
11/1/2010 9:41 PM
I think I drafted him as like the 3rd TE or something.
11/1/2010 9:41 PM
Witten is 1st in receptions and 2nd in yards among TEs.
11/1/2010 10:14 PM
Struggling in the TD department though.  In our league scoring I think he is 7th.
11/1/2010 10:16 PM
Maybe your league doesn't count receiving yards by TEs?

so, based on the 10 players left, in no particular order, on the NFL Network's countdown of top 100 NFL players (Jim Brown, Walter Payton, Joe Montana, Johnny Unitas, Peyton Manning, Jerry Rice, Don Hutson, Lawrence Taylor, Dick Butkus and Reggie White), they think Michael Irvin is the 8th greatest WR of all time? just freakin WOW

1 Jerry Rice
2 Don Hutson
3 Raymond Berry
4 Lance Alworth
5 Randy Moss
6 Paul Warfield
7 Crazy Legs Hirsch
8 Michael Irvin

Favre in the top 20 was enough to discsredit the list, but it was by no means scientific.

Having 85 guys give players ratings from 1 to 10 and taking the sums of those totals doesn't appropriately value a player compared to his peers.

Has anyone made a Steers vs. Queers joke about the world series combantants?

And how many TDs did he have last season?

Basically you're saying you drafted him because you recognized his name, and had no clue what he actually does on a football field.
11/1/2010 10:24 PM

A problem I have with the list is that it's the 100 greatest players, not the 100 greatest careers. So career achievements like Favre or Emmitt Smith have shouldn't really carry the same weight as guys whose flame burned brighter but for a shorter amount of time.

OJ Simpson should have been higher, honestly.

Gale Sayers then too, by that logic.
