Shtickless - Unless Being Dead Is A Shtick Topic

Also, anyone on the HBD boards who hypes up the Gleeman worlds is an idiot. I'm in one and I've literally half-assed that team and I still continue to do well. They're my least talented team but it seems like everyone in there overvalues the same bullshit and it's easy to sneak in a decent team with post-Rule V cheap vet free agents and moderate prospects. My team is awful and I'm still tied for first and won like 90 games last year. Nowhere near Shtickless in terms of competition.

I don't even know those worlds.  I think all of mine are super competitive except for Kenny Powers....  although I am undecided about Minor Leagues since I just won my division with free agent scraps.

...and the aforementioned 62 STA/20 DUR pitching staff.

I don't really care for awards that much. I like them in theory because it's not like I'm winning much else, but I realize they mean nothing in the grand scheme of things. Though I'm sure some use them in HOF considerations.

I have another good 1B in the wings. I have some guys in the minors, but the IFA market in general has sucked the last few years.
You love them.  Don't lie.

The IFA market has been awful and it has brutally fucked up my pseudo-plan for that world.

Some of those different biased lists they make on the boards rank them as a few of the best. The commissioner is one of the head writers on rotoworld, I think.

I'm hoping that bringing up Philip May to play 1B and miscasting Octavio Valenzuela in LF this season will jump start the underperforming offense in Scranton this season. Otherwise, we're looking at another 82-86 win season before the real re-tooling begins.

The cap encourages teams to play the IFA game. So a lot of players who are actually good just go for absurd contracts.

And if you shut up about him now, HE might actually have a shot at the HOF.
