its all in the libido :) just kidding... or am i
Players with high libidos clearly stay in college longer so they can keep bangin' coeds. You don't have a new batch of freshmen girls every season once you reach the NBA.

you sure about that, mniv?

im thinking nba players are probly doing okay in that department. im thinking there are plenty of batches.

look at wilt... he did okay.

you get a new batch of freshmen in every NBA city when you go pro...

I would stick with the nubile coeds in the SEC. Ask Magic Johnson about the NBA road skanks.

Just a quick update, lost FOUR early entries (my entire JR class) in a season we made the 2nd round.

I long ago stopped trying to figure out why guys go early. I did reams of research for 5 seasons across several worlds. Bottom line -- there was a random factor that could not be predicted.

I sleep better at night now that I stopped worrying about it. Recruit a lot of depth at all your positions and occassionally you get lucky to get a team of 5-7 Srs/Jrs that can make a deep run.

As good as LM and gillespie are, they have lost as many EEs as anyone -- probably more. Yes LM had a couple of guys stay that did not make sense, but I really think it is more luck than "magic information"

I really don't even complain when I lose them anymore, I frankly just look at is as affirmation that the program is headed in the right direction!

the awesome part is that jr class was the result of losing 3 ee with a s16 run. not to mention when I lost 5 players to EE at Western Michigan with an E8 run.

Glad you posted WR, nice run you had. I brought up your team as an example, you almost NEED to have SR's in order to win a NT which I hate how WIS almost predetermines who is going to get that deep run. You got lucky to bring back 5 SRs and went on a very nice run.

Looking at my two D1 contending Knight teams, I have NEVER had more than 3 SRS. Ever.....I always build up a nice team that looks like it should go on a deep run and then lose 3-5 players to the draft. It can be pretty annoying

I agree orrdc. Senior and Jr leadership is key for a deep run. I really got lucky in that Shaw came back. He was probably the only guy that could have legitimately gone pro last year. But I also had 3 PGs and 2SGs just in case he went Pro last year.

Over the past 5 years I have really focused on always having 5 (and sometimes 6) guards because that is where you need the IQ of Sr/Jrs. In my experience So (and sometimes Fr) big men can contribute just as well as Srs, but young guards will kill you.
