I think we go.  I think knee is right in best-case scenarios . . . but this is not one of those.

first we would have to get an owner to agree to take a second team. I would be fine with it as long as there was a rule that the owner was not allowed to have both of his teams bid on the same unit (or, maybe, make there be a minimum of 3-4 intervening bids between their two teams) and obviously they couldn't trade between the teams. Better to trust that whoever it is can be honest than wait like 2 weeks to find a replacement

Already have both of those things worked out.  I'll take the second team if necessary.  I would bid on the IF, OF, and SP units since I've filled those already and yogi20 has agreed to bid on the C/DH and RP units since he's filled those.  Whoever takes the second team would not have both teams in the same league and, of course, would not be allowed to trade between the two teams.  

My goal is to do what's best for the league, not myself.  Filling the league is best for the league right now.  Anything that looks even the slightest bit suspicious runs counter to that.  I agree that finding another owner would be the best case scenario.  This may be the best I can do under the circumstances.

I am, of course, still holding out hope that someone will step up and join.  But I don't think we can wait forever.

I would be ok with taking the 2nd Team if you wanted. I only need an OF (and only have $7 mil to spend) so I'd never be bidding against myself.

Joe, it looks like that won't be necessary.  We have an owner who has agreed to take the last spot.
