Just wanted to clarify one of the rules.


- If a rule or challenge description is unclear. The spirit of the game is to clarify things, not find loopholes to take advantage of.


This is why after I post the challenges, I clearly state ask questions if you have any. The Browns will not be accepted as a team. It is only the St. Louis Cardinals teams and the Chicago Cubs teams that are available to use.

Okay here is the schedule for game matchups below. Remember, the tribe with the most series' wins will get to vote out another tribes member. Each matchup that has the name at the end will have home field advantage. For example, donald would play game 1 at home, game 2 on the road, and game 3 if necessary at home. Post scores here and good luck to everyone. Soxyanks12 has the ability to have only one sp go for him all series, but everyone else must follow all the rules laid out in the challenge. Games are due at midnight monday after the football game. Any unfinished series will be simmed by me, hopefully I wont have to do that again.

Bastan, can we get another day or so to play the games? The short time frame can make it tough to get these in and also get other games in with so many leagues having trouble getting players to reach the minimums, especially with some players mostly on only on weekdays and Friday/Saturday being holidays for some. Tuesday night might make it a lot less likely that series will have to be simmed.

Josh, I am pretty free the next couple of days, tell me when you would like to play.

My 2004 Cards win series over TomJames's 1984 Cubs, 2 games to 1.

Game 1 @ Busch: Cubs 5, Cards 2. W: Sutcliffe. L: Carpenter. Sv: Lee Smith. 3 Cubs HRs off Carpenter seal the deal. Edmonds strikes out as potential tying run to end game.

Game 2 @ Wrigley: Cards 9, Cubs 3. W: Tavarez. L: Sanderson. 6th-inning rally seals it for Cards. Tavarez records 1 out to end bottom 5th in relief of Woody Williams to win it.

Game 3 @ Busch: Cards 4, Cubs 2. W: Kline. L: Sutcliffe. Sv: Calero. Despite 11 K from Sutcliffe including 6 in a row to start the game, he gives up go-ahead hit in bottom 7th to Renteria followed by a pinch-hit RBI by Taguchi.

Yes Sutcliffe really let me down

I may be loking at this wrong but with 7 series' why would their be the need for tie-breakers? With the odd number of series, someone would have to win, correct? either 7-0, 6-1, 5-2 or 4-3.
