Well son of a *****, have to start over again now. Really wish that requirement was changed earlier.
Not changed, but my fault for not making it more clear. If your reading was a common one, I'm open to relaxing it as long as people submit their 5 players when they enter their team.
I’m not “that guy” so I will be fine with whatever you or the round 2 owners go with. But to be fair, the 110M theme requirements written at the beginning of this thread did in fact change and the change is actually somewhat significant.

I'm gonna wait for a final ruling on exactly who needs to be WIS eligible. On my current build, 2 of my "base team" guys are not WIS eligible and 1 of my secondary twists is not WIS eligible on the team I twisted him to.

I'm hoping, based on earlier posts, that this will be okay as long as we declare our 5 base players/teams when we submit our rosters.

Okay. . . the more I think on this. . .

Ozo, aren't you going to have to use the Oracle tool to check for teammates for roster checking? and if so, isn't adding any "WIS-eligible" language going to make your job much harder, not easier, since the Oracle tool doesn't care about WIS eligibility?

Maybe I'm missing something regarding how you plan to verify rosters.
I concur with this. I honestly don't care what the rules are, but at this point, it seems the "WIS-eligible" part is a bit unnecessary.

For the new variable cap theme, are we drafting ballparks? Is that a typo?

Some of these themes are challenging. I probably should have looked sooner. Should be fun though.

That is a typo. Fixed.

Thought more about the WIS-eligible piece. Agree that it's not appropriate to change now since it wasn't articulated to start. I can put some legwork in on verification.

The original restriction will still be in place (i.e. none of the players you use can have been a WIS-eligible teammate of any of the other four players you twisted from your base team at any point in their career) but that's it.

For the 140M draft, are we only allowed to use teammates from seasons when the nominated players are WIS-eligible?

For example, someone nominated Troy Tulowitzki, who had the required 5 WIS-eligible seasons but only had 11 AB in 2019. So, can someone draft a player off the 2019 Yankees as a Tulo teammate?

$140M question: Sorry if this has been answered but i just went through every page and didn't see it... If someone nominates Player A, and I draft someone who was a teammate with Player A, who happens to be named Player B, can I use any season of Player B or do I have to use a Player B season in which he was on the same roster as Player A? If they were only teammates from 1930-1934, can I use Player B's 1940 season?

This is my 1st ever WIS MLB draft, although I've participated in dozens of WIS NBA drafts... So I have no sense of who will get drafted when at this a specific cap level I hope I don't screw up too bad.

Well none of us knows yet what our "player universe" will be, so it's really hard to gauge the talent level without knowing all the nominees.

I'm going to try to create a spreadsheet with all of the player seasons eligible to us based on the nominees, or at least research all the rosters of the teams they played on and make lists of the better potential picks. I'd suggest doing whatever will help you have a sense of the options you'll have.

"Draft order example: The #1 ranked owner nominated Babe Ruth and the #2 ranked owner nominated Roger Maris. In Round 1: I select Lou Gehrig as my teammate, tied to Babe Ruth and brianjw selects Mickey Mantle, tied to Roger Maris. I would pick before brianjw in the next round since Ruth was nominated before Maris."

What if two people select a teammate tied to Babe Ruth. Who drafts first?

All I'm working with is a phone for now... and even if my 2 computers didn't break/crash recently, I wouldn't have a clue how to make one of these spreadsheets I keep reading about (I do know what a spreadsheet is and the basics of how to make & use 1.... Not even 1 idea how to make 1 that would be relevant to WIS... It appears that these spreadsheets are like golden tickets.... Which is why I hate these complicated themes that don't really have anything to do with how well you can put together a team)
?
certain themes remind me of a sex addict. When u first start having sex, missionary is great. You love it.... But 10 years later u have to have electrodes hooked up to your nipples and a belt around your neck just to get off....
i like variety and mixing it up... But I honestly feel like the $110M league crosses a line I'm just not comfortable with, nor see the point in... And having a draft with such a specific player pool, that wont be easy to search for (THAT'S the problem) just makes it more difficult than it should be... Again, this is supposed to be fun. Most of us work. Some of go to school. Some of us to both... I'm in school and my course load is very rigorous. I was hoping this would be a break from that, not an addition.... Enough of that.... Its my fault, I didn't know what I was getting into and when I got a clue, I willingly kept going...
