I should have taken two out of three against you. Even with that disappointing series, that team has played well. It hasn't been an easy schedule to this point, so the performance is nice. I think there is a lot of talent there. Pitching is an issue, but I've been messing around with my rotation regularly to limit innings and pull guys quickly if they struggle. So I'm hoping staying vigilant in that regard keeps them from falling off, because the bats can carry them.
Yeah... pitching is your weakspot but they have been doing well... and your bats are definitely strong enough to offset average pitching. This seasons slores are probably the most balanced the team has ever been...#2 in the AL for runs/rbis (which is really all that matters imo) and leading the AL in era by nearly a point (3.26 vs 2nd place at 4.19).... not too shabby considering my top 2 starters in m duran and torcato have been sub par so far. Keller has been in 6 games and is 2-0, 0.00 era, 4 saves. I wanted to trade him in the off-season but found no takers... glad I didn't... would have been a huge mistake.
