Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

You are easily a terrible human being.
You’re just mad because you still haven’t figured out the difference between a tax deduction and a tax credit.
Dogs get mad and people get angry. Keep lying, big guy. That is all you got. Tell me again how Catfish Hunter and Brad Radke are the same guy.

hahaha the hypocrisy is strong with Comrade.
Says the Christian or is it now Muslim, Jew?

Sure the #1 reason people voted for him was because his opponent was a lying, cheating, stealing, self-absorbed, elitist beotch, but the people who did support his stance on issues have got to be happy with his efforts, if not his success, thus far. He has tried to follow-up on most his "major" stances (trade, immigration, economy, health care) much more so than most recently elected POTUS. C for results, D- for "style", but B+ for effort. Nothing to rave about, but again, better than most recently, and I'll go to my grave believing much, much, much better than the alternative.

People voted for him:
  1. They saw him as a business friendly President who could boost the economy
  2. He was an outsider
  3. PC culture and Liberal bias annoyed many a person
  4. He was pro military
  5. He was charismatic
  6. He was not HRC
Those were mostly the answers I got when speaking to friends, neighbors, etc. in my small town in MA.

In the end, results is what matters. Unemployment is low, M&A activity is up, military spend is up. In terms of delivery? It is purely subjective. Many people like that sort of bluntness, others are turned off by it. There is no right or wrong answer to delivery. I am anti PC so I like the delivery style but I can also see how it can put some people off.

Boris. Hey man! Just posting here to be fair and balanced because I mostly agree with you here.
Problem is.

#2. He was/is NO outsider.......... that's ridiculous......... I'm an outsider, you're an outsider, Rodney Crowell is THE Outsider........ but The "Donald"?........ "outsider"...........not so much.
#3. Me.Too! But these days I see a WHOLE LOT of Conservative Bias around.
#4. So was........... add your own name on the blank_____________ here's just a few examples (Cortez, Napolean, Stalin, Hirohito, that other H guy?)
#5. Really? Maybe to a public numbed to near catatonic nodding by the "blue glow" of crap like un-reality TV. You know, The Apprentice anyone........ GAG me!

#6. is the ding ding ding winner, though. By a mile! Anyone of those reprehensible names you thought of for the blank on line #4 COULD have (in fact likely WOULD have) been elected by the masses who pulled the trigger 18 mos. ago. SAD.

Chin up, Amigo. I got beans, guns, and grit. I'll be fine. Long as I keep this here fire a-going..........

Adding on to what Bob said, I understand how people could see him that way but his shady business tactics and many failed projects cast some doubt.I don't see how 2, 3, and 4 are good/valid reasons to vote for someone. I don't think people voted for him for his personality either.

The main reason he won is because dems ran a crappy candidate. But to say that Hillary is worse than Trump is insane to me. John Oliver had an episode on this. He said that scandals are like raisins on a cookie. Hillary is a cookie with slightly more raisins than usual. Trump is a raisin monsoon.

I just posted the reasons that were given to me. Right or wrong, I am not judging. Those are not MY reasons necessarily BTW.

What surprised me is that the polls were so incorrect and yet we still look at polls for guidance?

Idiot

I just told you that these were the reasons as told to me. "I don't think people voted for him for his personality either." Actually they did because they told me they did and the sample size of people that I spoke with was statistically significant. The Dems did not run a crappy candidate they shoved that candidate down people's throats.

Trump ran on:
  1. Stronger immigration policy --- in place
  2. Stronger military --- moving that way
  3. Stronger economy --- stats speak for themselves
  4. Reformed Healthcare --- TBD
  5. The WALL --- TBD
He was never an eloquent hugger. He was who he said he was. You, tangplay the moron are still upset that he got elected. Just admit it. President DJT is not any different from Candidate DJT. If you would just admit that you are upset over the election we can continue to discuss the issues. Otherwise continue lying about your faith and your profession.

You are the only "journalist" that I have met, who did not know what an ad hominem is.

3/12/2018 1:17 PM
I never said that they were your beliefs. The people I talked to voted for him for the other reasons that you stated. I was just putting in my two cents.

My point was that in my opinion I disagree with most of the things he ran on.

I don't know why you jumped to me being upset about the election. I am a little upset with the election, sure, a bit disturbed, but I am pretty much over it. He is gonna win in 2020 again anyway.

And I know what ad hominem is. I don't know where you got the idea that I did not.
3/12/2018 1:26 PM
Ummm...because you said you did not when we first started conversing? Do you agree that President Trump is the same guy as Candidate Trump? I think you do. Then why are you so upset at his actions and speeches? That is what got him the white house. I am not 100% sure he wins in 2020. It will depend on the economy.

I literally never said that I didn't know what ad hominem was. I have no idea where you got that. I didn't like candidate Trump, and I don't like President Trump. It is saddening that the electoral college picked him.

Bad for you but good for others. Democracy is not built to always appease everyone.

Shapiro vs. Stewart?

Jew vs. Jew

I'd love it!
3/12/2018 1:55 PM
I would kill to see those two run. Those would be some amazing debates. Two great debaters. There would be some funny moments too.
3/12/2018 2:15 PM
Of course but the Dems will never let that happen. They will run out some troll like Booker. Shapiro would eviscerate him in a debate.
