In peeps2, the first place Maroons are getting a run for their money by the streaking jr blues as they move into the third period deadlocked at one. A win by the jr squad will move 'em within kicking distance of first, with only six points separating the top five squads. It's gonna be a rat race down the stretch. Back to you, Chet!

Yup. How many seasons can a league last?
Yeah, but I need to re-load. My recent young 'uns have gone from zero to low-80s pretty quick. I'm probably dumping six guys after the playoffs, so the improvements will be concentrated among fewer guys. It'll pay off.

I may even look at the free agent list for the first time in eons. Even since the cap went up, I haven't signed anyone but prospects.

Probie somehow stays in the mix with a nursing home full of 40 year-olds, but I don't want to try it. I got a couple of oldsters declining and getting payded largely.
