remember that old twilight zone episode where a racist is turned black.......i wish trump could be in such an episode.
and what? be turned into a caring human being?
Obama had a Marine get soaking wet holding an umbrella while he gave a briefing. Trump twice picked up a sentry's hat after it had been blown off. That tells me enough about both men. One has a heart. The other believes he is a deity...
Oh, my.

trump is a man of his people.

between the tax cuts and infrastructure the deficit will take a hit equal to the iraq war..........we wont have to wait 6 years to see the recession......very soon we will see dangerous offsets......medicare...medicaid.......chip etc.....they will call it reform....one of the key words of deceit.....reform doesnt lower benefits to those who need it most....just wait ..it is the shop around the corner..............also watch now how a bunch of gop will suddenly get religion on deficit spending.
the biggest disgrace in the senate for my money is bob porker.........

i wish some of you guys would join in on the music stuff...i would love to see your lists.
I haven't heard of 90% of the artists on the lists post-2000. I listen to very little radio anymore. At home i listen to Joe Walsh, Neil Young, Clapton, Bonnie Raitt. Obviously not for their politics either...

I don't have much to offer on modern music. If I hear something I like, I look for it online. But I couldn't tell you who won a single Grammy in the past 10 years...

Tonight I delve into the Black Crowes and some Wilburys...and I am entertained by the crazy Asian woman who is house cleaning...her Bissell is no match for my Pioneer gear...she has on headphones, likely listening to some crap she heard on The Voice...but it gets her dancing, so I digress...
LOL. Best post of the season so far!!! Nice Doc! But Black Crowes doesn't work for me. Too modern! The Wilbury's always work though. So will "Mojo" from TP & the Heartbreakers. I promise. I have no idea what The Voice is but the whole crazy dancing Asian woman thing works for me during the holidays.
I'd be digressed, too!
Merry Festivus!

followed up quickly by one of the silliest. Wazup Doc? Well, at least you have balance. Depth and superficiality.

Besides, while I'm certainly no fan of Trump.......... I really don't think He thinks he's a deity............... He thinks more, well, younger than that......... He thinks he's gonna grow up to be YUGER.............. more like "beloved emperor of the Universe."

As for Obama he's got a heart alright. Even black folks have 'em and he's only a halfie........ you know that.
He probably does have that extree "jumping" bone though.......... and likely his schlong is longer than me and yours......... but at my age that ain't a concern no longer.

bob i think you misunderstood...i think doc was saying that obama has a heart and trump thinks obama is a deity.
12/24/2017 12:02 PM
I think he was saying that Obama wiretapped Trump's heart with help from Shrillary.

MY 2011 LIST - RANKED

1. ADELE - 21 - raising victimizing whining to a beautiful art form.
2. DAWES - NOTHING IS WRONG - a lot of people compared this to fountain of sorrow era jackson brown......obviously i agree.
3. WILCO - THE WHOLE LOVE- whats not to love.
4. BLACK KEYS - EL CAMINO - this group is simply a wrecking ball of cool.
5. YUCK - YUCK - not to be compared to yick......you can compare this album to the great teenage fanclub album of 1991...unfortunately albums 2 and 3 stink..the frontman left after this great rookie album.
6. JULIAN LENNON - EVERYTHING CHANGES - this album made papa very proud.
7. COWBOY JUNKIES - DEMON - covers of great vic chestnut songs done supremely.
8. BIRDY - BIRDY - every year has few great indie albums.....this was one.

Yes, Cowboy Junkies did a great job with the Vic Chesnutt covers. My only complaint is I wish they'd done more songs (or even one!) from his first album, Little. That's by far my favorite from Vic.

Funny how now Dems point to the debt, they never let off the spending pedal...some economists see the tax changes paying for themselves. We'll see...

12/26/2017 5:57 AM
we have to wait and see if there will be a depression in 4-7 years but we might see some strange things in 2018 re chip...medicare...medicaid......social security.......healthcare.......welfare..... and strange battles about infrastructure..
