W's Daddy was the worst in regard to "blowing up the Nat'l Debt"............. but it takes both parties to do (so thoroughly) what has been done over the last century. A pox on BOTH their houses has been my credo for a long long time. But most folks just won't take guys like Harry Browne, or Gary Johnson, or Andre Marou (sp ??) seriously. It takes MONEY!!! Only Ross Perot was given a fair examination by the "public" as a 3rd choice candidate....... and just what did Ross have????? And just what was the qualification that got Trump to where he is now???? It's all the same answer. MONEY.

Electing the richest of the rich on the pretense that he will (somehow) represent the middle class and us po' folk is sheer lunacy.
Kind of like believing in an actual physical "immaculate conception"............ Sorry folks, I don't believe in physical impossibility, nor do I stray (mosttimes) into lunacy. I do hope Pres. Trump succeeds because I love my country. But, I clearly understand why the wealthy are so happy. He will surely help them.

Love your Country, fear your Gov't!
A credo for all true Americans.
"Electing the richest of the rich on the pretense that he will (somehow) represent the middle class and us po' folk is sheer lunacy."

Yeah, good thing the Clintons are poor. They understand the middle class much better. /sarcasm

You won't catch me defending the Clintons. Certainly not on the topic of financial ethics. However, in TODAY's world, the Clinton diversion is a lame red herring. IF the Democrats were as sinister as some would have us believe, they would never have been so stupid as to run Hillary. That fact alone (Hillary) accounted for much of the Repug success in the last election.

Most Americans aren't looking for the Gov't to help them out personally as much as to just spend our dollars wisely and leave us alone.
Neither party seems capable of that. Sessions seems bound and determined to make the current administration profoundly unpopular by taking on the States over weed. Making Trump unpopular doesn't seem to me to be the way to ingratiate yourself to the Donald I suspect. I kinda doubt Trump himself will bear the heat. I've seen no evidence of a "The buck stops here" attitude about this cat.............

H Bush only grew the debt by $1.5 Trillion. Not even close to being the worst in regard to "blowing up the Nat'l Debt"

to many of us the dems knew of Hillary's crookedness and their arrogance fueled by 8 years of Obama made them look the other way. possibly they thought they could count on her being a good little Democrat and tow the line. you are right in the sense that Americans want government out of our back pocket and for both parties to quit spending money we have to borrow

We as a nation are in trouble. When voters vote AGAINST a candidate instead of FOR a candidate that alone speaks volumes as to the health of our government and the whole political process that we use to elect our leaders. I thoroughly agree that money some how, some way, has to be taken out of the process.

HEY! HERE'S AN IDEA!

Why don't you do a cost analysis on what part of the Regan peace dividend was thrown away by Bill Clinton and the Dems. After you figure out the House of Representatives was the only thing that kept the pervert out of jail, consider this.

Consider the leaked memo from the democratic Senator which which told lib dems to screw America and the soldiers in IRAQ and screw Bush up his pants. After all, we can all agree he STOLE THE ELECTION! RIGHT! So do everything you can top screw him up. RIGHT? And the lib Dems are not against the guy getting killed or maimed...not against the soldier.....JUST AGAINST THE WAR! RIGHT!

WELL THANKS ALOT!

Let's see your damn chart and give me a cost analysis on SUSAN RICE.

That's what I want to see.

THANK GOD FOR OBAMACARE!

He only stole 1/2 the money in the bank. We used ta have 1.5 TRILLION.

Now ALL of us are screwed because he stole half of it to start a loser called Obamacare.

And that's going down the toilet and we're still on OBAMA sequester and we can't even fly our planes BUT EVERYBODY GOT A PHONE!

I wish everybody had a job instead. Then you can buy your own damned phone.

Is OBAMA and RICE listening in? Will they UNMASK ME?

HELLO BIG BROTHER LIBERAL DEMOCRAT!

You must look at the percentage of growth in the national debt. Then you will see that G.H.W. Bush was the worst by FAR in exploding the debt.
There's just no argument on this score. matter of fact make two timelines. One listing the national debt. The other showing which party had the presidency and control of Congress. You Repug. leaning folks might find it a bit surprising!
I beg to differ, there is a very valid case to argue. In the first place, Was I talking about percentage? I am talking dollars. And even if I was talking percentage, you are wrong. F.D.R, Woodrow Wilson, George W, Bush, Ronald Reagan, and Barack Obama grew the debt by percentage more than George H Bush did.
During the Obama administration the debt rose more in terms of dollars than at anytime of any other President. Go ahead and sugar coat it anyway you want. When he took office your share of the debt was around $32,000. When he left, it more than doubled.

Neither party has been fiscally responsible at the Federal level for many years. Was the primary reason for the movement of the Tea Party, to get the money back to the state level.

The good thing about Syria is that Trump's got a plan. You can tell he's thought this thing through: hashed it out with various experts, read all the relevant reports, etc. And he's been consistent on Syria -- he's been saying for years that America should get involved. He's not just bombing stuff willy-nilly, all ignorant and impulsive as he impresses cable news folk with his "presidential" behavior. He's really onto something here. I expect a lot of good to come out of this.
