2. frozen_Rope- Do you feel like there are people you cant trust at this point in the game?

3. Dtownlove10- Who is best suited to be the captian of this tribe?

4. Arvidjosef- how much of this loss is on your selection of the team?

5. Dahsdebater- You got smoked in your game, seemed to be a theme on the tribe. Why?

6. 5pointtoss- you pushed everything to a sudden death tie breaker, is that a small victory?

7. Gonzos- does a win mean you are safe?

8. Steveymer- You have a history as the first champion, does that come in to play here?

I think this question almost answers itself. Losing - and often losing badly - was something our tribe did on a regular basis. The kind of failure we experienced can only exist if our teams were simply overmatched, and I think that was obviously the case here. When he selected our team, Arvid largely justified the decision by pointing out that they had a number of good pitchers. I think that was the problem. The Indians won a lot of games in the decade, but they did so by having a deep and balanced rotation of above-average pitchers. The offense is far from overwhelming most years and there is no dominant ace. I personally wanted to give the Phillies a shot. Robin Roberts was the best pitcher of the decade by a wide margin - 5 of the top 8 most expensive pitchers of the decade are iterations of Roberts. I also think we ran into a home-field DISadvantage that nobody in the tribe anticipated on time. As soon as we got into the game I realized we were playing in a +HR home park against a team with significantly more power. That hurt us as badly as the lack of an ace and probably was responsible for some of the big offensive numbers that were put up against us in Cleveland.

I don't think it should as it's not part of a trend (so far at least), and anything can happen in one game, nor was it team of my own choosing.

Of course what I think and what my team members think could be entirely different.
