workign again

got wis frozen window for 3rd time this week in mxw6's 110M franchise league ... frustrating ...

May be wis server needs more memory or bandwidth capacity in the line ...

I sent in a ticket asking about this and got the following response:

With regards to our LIVE server, there have been some recent updates to the Java library that has caused sporadic problems. We have yet to track them down. A temporary workaround is to shutdown the login window and try again as it's not really down, but there are occasional temporary hangs.

We plan on fully revamping LIVE. It could be SO much better than it currently is. It's in the pipeline but has not started yet.

I would say that when nobody can get on, it's really down.

Translation: We know our product is ******, and it could be better. However, at this time we don't care, and when we get around to it (NEVER) we'll fix it.

Over/Under on live being "revamped" - 2013.

A revamp would be nice, but I'd happily settle for it just being made stable.

it isnt about the crashes guys.....its about the whole system being down for sometimes hours at a time. When this happens a restart is meaningless.

ie down right now 1035 EST

and again at 1:55 pm EST

down.

Pay no attention to the validating login screen. It is simply a figment of your imagination, and these are not the drones you are looking for. Just keep saying 'I think I can, I think I can,' and 'There's no place like home,' and in two shakes of a lamb's tail you'll be playing again.
