Is there a reason why there's a prohibition on not mentioning non-drafted players; allowing comments on any player - drafter or otherwise would certainly liven up the discussions -- and add some ribbing to those who draft someone "other" deem less than desirable.

It was once explained to me, and I agree, that once the player’s name is mentioned, perception is that he has been taken.
I was in a league once where a guy, intentional or not, would draft and then delete the pick and draft someone else. It is not the same thing, but we don’t need to add additional things for people to check for when drafting.
