When I took Tommy Tucker last round, my plan was to take '05 Bagwell this round (I knew I would pick ahead of cholatse, the other '89 Tucker owner). Who needs two full-time first baseman, right? But the late Mauer run forced me to deviate (since Mauer also has a few full-time 1B-only seasons). I guess I will have to play Bagwell out of position. The Mauer and Tucker nominations were really brilliant.

Great pitching teammates too. Alas.

Right - If I had room for any his teammates, I probably would've taken him. But my pitching is pretty much set, save for maybe one more RP.

alice - not sure how old you are, but when my son moved out to go to college (about 9 years ago), I invested in a top-of-the-line snow-blower. The first two years I owned it, we never had a snowfall big enough to justify using it (I usually don't bother for less than 5 inches unless it's really heavy/wet snow). But since then, I've used it a number of times (including 4 times this winter). Best purchase I've ever made. (I live in the Chicago suburbs)

Thanks. I figured that version would be long gone given the presence of Tucker and more than just Mauer having 1b-only rated seasons. Good thing for you and cholatse is that not only does Bagwell have a lot of useable 1b seasons but the 1889 Tucker is OF rated. As for the 2005 Astro SP teammates, I am sure I will have no problem fitting one or both in under the cap. Not!!
