Hey pini—I have definitely bristled when I think people have been rude in the past, and I think blowing people off is rude and I still do. I work a full time job as a litigator and I was also solo parenting a teething baby today, but still made a point of making my pick on time. I also give you credit because you listened to what people had to say and have made efforts to be more considerate.
I didn't start taking shots at nordawg until he decided to yell at everyone even after a day of people bending over backwards to try to help him, even though—as I mentioned earlier—according to him if the facts are as he understood them to be, that he was going to nuke the draft for everybody today if it was untimed and not say anything to anyone. That sucks! As you say people are busy and if they don't know someone is gonna do that they might keep checking in fruitlessly.
And, I've been in this league for over 30 seasons at this point if we're doing appeals to length of time in the league.
I appreciate your insight, & your credit this way......I just always found it off putting on my side that at times it seemed you wanted to "attack" me.....that said not literally obviously...........I can definitely appreciate your time / job / & of course having a teething baby, NEVER FUN, haha. I also appreciate your offering of help to Nord, not that he needs my endorsement. You & I have gone back N forth & worked it our amicably which I do very much appreciate. Bottom line, the sitemail did go out late last night, which always is fine with me on the West Coast, FF has repeatedly apologized & owned his "mistake", we have all been in a spot where we held the league draft up, me being a repeat offender & I'm sure Nord is just venting. I know you have been a mainstay in this league for a long time as well, & are appreciated. Let's hope this doesn't have any ill effect on people participation moving forward.
