I actually think when "we are on the clock", the rules should be slowed or suspended on holidays and weekends. Just not going to take time out of doing my lots of stuff because some people are constantly hitting refresh.
Then you should stop joining draft leagues. Holidays and weekends are when people should have a much easier time making their picks. Still waiting to see what "lots of stuff" is.

I draft much quicker during the week, when I am usually in front of my laptop constantly until about 5:30 pm my time. I'm about to make a pick for this draft on this holiday, once the person in front makes me their pick.

Why not leave the pick so everybody else who is still up can maybe make their pick instead of waiting until the morning.
