Also, what's the financial gain to fake all of this?
Wouldn't it be more logical for it to be the other way around? We alreadt know that scientists have been paid to issue anti-climate change studies.
Hey tang,
Look, I have spoken with enough Global Warming adherents to know the drill. I will get asked to explain all of these phenomena. The problem is that, while it is a fact that sea levels are rising, it is NOT a fact that Climate Change, as intentionally, nebulously ill-defined by the political Environmentalists, is the cause. By asking the question, it insinuates a cause and effect relationship between sea levels and Climate Change. It is a rhetorical strategy that uses a loaded question. Science employs methods to isolate a variable that can then be tested repeatedly to acheive a predictable result. The question is asked FIRST and then the conclusion is written after the tests are performed. What's going on right now is the opposite. Researchers begin with a conclusion (Gobal Warming is the cause) and then work backwards to support it. Why? Because there isn't a variable that can be isolated due to the vastness of the question. Read up on String Theory or Einstein's Unified Field Theory. They are great examples of when "science" tackles too vast of a question and simply starts guessing. Scientists really don't know why sea levels are rising and can't prove it cause through the scientific method. So, they have created a plausible guess which is, in effect, a belief system. You either believe in Climate Change (like people believe in a God) or you don't.
One of these days, the definitive Environmental manifesto will be released and we will all finally understand what the goals behind this really is. Perhaps the Green New Deal is that document, although I doubt it, where the facade over caring about the planet can finally be dropped and we will all be told what is at stake (hint: it's a desire for absolute power.) Until then, the game stretches on with no end in sight. Al Gore is bound to make a third documentary - An Inconvenient Hoax that Made Me a Lot of Money and Set Up a New Global Socio-Political Power Elite.
The fact that sea levels are rising is, by definition, climate change. That ends the debate. You are doing the exact same thing in your logic that you accuse researchers of doing. You have come to the conclusion that the whole thing is a conspiracy. You don't know why yet. You are looking for why. There is no financial incentive to pay out a bunch of scientists to fake studies to achieve a goal of.... Losing money. It doesn't make any semblence of logical sense. Maybe people really do want to care for the planet. Maybe climate change is real. One thing that I do know: Big Solar doesn't exist. Big Oil does.
Again, sea levels are rising. That's a measurable fact. Glaciers are melting. That's a fact. Worldwide temperatures are rising. That's a fact. Those are all observations. My hypothesis is that these things are bad and we should try to stop them. Islands are already going underwater. These are things you cannot deny.
We aren't guessing as to why sea levels are rising. Let's say you have a glass of water with ice in it. You leave it in 100 degree weather. The ice will melt and the water levels will rise. It's 3rd grade science.
Regardless of the cause, the fact that water levelevels are rising is a problem that needs solving. That's not up for debate.
