STILL HAVE NOT DEFINED ECONOMY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I will bet you anything that when you figure out what economy means you will change your point of view and sincecely apologize to everyone here....

What happened to "I don't click links".....  And I don't need your link to tell me what economy is, I know what it is....and if YOU did you would change your argument.
No joke, I am genuinely missing your point here.  Please feel free to shine a light.

This shows me that you know nothing about...
1. Empirical relationships
2. Indicators of inflation
3. Commodity inflation
     a. oil & non-oil commodities
4. Short-run & long-run relationships
5. volatility
6. CPI / PCEPI / GDPD
.....and the list goes on.
You think (indicated in your posts) that inflation is simple and easily defined and explained, Yet you constantly ignore the multiple relationships that are involved.  You substitute "simplicity" for "complexity" as if it were just that easy.
People spoon feed you bits of information in order to find your level of understanding, and you spin the intention.

Like I said before...there is a reason no one come to your defense, and there is a reason you've been corrected by each user to post..or simply called dumbass.
Enjoy your blogesphere.

Commodity prices rise and fall regardless of fed policy, agree?

So no one finds "I argued all these points, therefore, I must be open-minded" as funny as I do?
6/19/2012 7:45 PM
I'm open minded enough to consider points of view that are unpopular.  That your arguments haven't swayed me isn't a reflection of my lack of open-mindedness, just your lack of a convincing argument.
6/19/2012 7:55 PM
So you can only be open-minded if you take an unpopular stance?

Don't you think it's about time you look up the meaning of "open-minded"?

Everyone here has been trying to shed a light on you but you just refuse to or are incapable of understanding a basic logical thought process. I have always believed that liberals have a genetic pre-disposition to ignoring logic and truth, and you have really helped me attempt to prove my theory.
You truly just do not get it.

Part of his point is that you said that you do not click on links, but then you post links for other people to click on, to support your arguments.

Hypocritical of you.

That is not open-minded - that is contrarian.

Big difference.

That link isn't supporting any argument. It's a joke, smart guy.

If inflation remains at zero and he still can't afford to eat because the price of grain went up due to global population growth, and he wouldn't be see while he cooked the food anyway, because energy prices went up due to increased global demand, and he couldn't afford to get to the store because gas prices went up due to that same demand, he's just as screwed.

The difference is that if the economy grows even with 5% inflation, he has a chance to increase his income to keep up with rising costs.  If the economy doesn't grow and inflation stays at zero, he has no chance to keep up with the rising costs.  And the costs ARE going to rise, inflation or no inflation.
Rising costs are inflation, dumbass.

You can't say costs are rising and inflation is staying at zero.
Um no. Inflation is the reduction in the value of a dollar. Price increases/decreases due to supply and demand of a product are not inflation/deflation.
Wow.  You really should consider stopping posting.

But what the heck: what causes the reduction in the value of a dollar?
